Wymondham and AttleboroughTalking Newspaper is one of twelve independently-run Talking Newspaper (TN) groups in Norfolk, of which there are more than 500 across the UK.
A group of fifty volunteers produce a weekly local news and information service in audio format for blind and partially sighted people in and around Wymondham and Attleborough. The service is free and is also available to those for whom reading a newspaper is difficult because of a disability or health condition. We concentrate on local news for the area including Hethersett, Mulbarton, Bunwell, Hingham, New Buckenham, Old Buckenham, not forgetting Attleborough and Wymondham and the surrounding villages.
It is now possible to listen to our news or magazine editions by telephone.
For the telephone service, the number is 0330 22 33 452.
Please note that standard-rate charges apply, but if your telephone package includes free calls at evenings or weekends then this service will also be free for up to an hour at a time.
