If you would like to keep in touch with news from the local area but are unable to read printed material owing to a visual inmpairment or other difficulty with written items, then our service could be for you. We distibute a regular package of local news, either direct to your letterbox or on-line.
The Talking Newspaper is available free of charge to people with Visual Impairments.
Each edition is sent by post on a usb flash memory stick, also known as a 'Thumb Drive'. Returning the sticks is done via the free 'Articles for the Blind' service, just pop the wallet into a normal post box.
If you do not have a suitable player, we are also able to supply one free of charge.
